Museum of Art in Łódź (MS1 and MS2)
The creation of the Lodz collection is a phenomenon on a global scale for several reasons. First, the initiative came from the artists themselves. The unusual collection was created thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication of only five members of the a.r. group: artists - Władysław Strzemiński, Katarzyna Kobro, Henryk Stażewski, and poets - Julian Przyboś and Jan Brzękowski. Their activities and contacts, stretching from Moscow to Paris, made it possible to create an outstanding, international collection of contemporary art. Secondly, the most progressive representatives of the then European avant-garde donated their works to the collection as a gift, whose names only a few years later entered the canon of modern times.
The basic value of the collection, which consists mainly of works from the area of experimental art, is its constant openness to the present day - a derivative of the tradition standing at its source. The same tradition is the source of the idea of ignoring the barriers separating various fields of art, the idea that decides to adopt the formula of integrating collections into one living organism of art.

Textile Museum
The idea to create a textile museum in Łódź, which had been the country's largest textile industry center since the 19th century, was born in 1946. In 1955, the Weaving Department gained a new seat - Ludwik Geyer's White Factory. A magnificent complex of classicist buildings, one of the most beautiful monuments of industrial architecture in Poland.
In 60 years, the Textile Museum has come a long way, becoming a specialized institution presenting textile industry from many perspectives: as a field of art, a field of industry, a vast area related to fashion, customs and everyday life. Thanks to the collections of unique value accumulated over the years, visitors can learn the secrets of the textile production process and the variety of patterns of industrial textiles produced in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. These are textiles from many centuries, making up a rich collection of artistic antique fabrics, fashion and design.
The Art Book Museum
The Art Book Museum is: a post-industrial monument in a 100-year-old villa of a cotton manufacturer at Księży Młyn in Łódź. The main goal of the Book Art Museum is to inspire and create books in the field of book art. The museum favors the idea of "arts correspondence", which is extremely useful in the process of book conceptualization. MKA is open to various fields and trends in art, it "discovers" them and "lives with them". Currently, after 100 years, the suprematism of Kazimierz Malewicz is "discovered" in the museum. The Book Art Museum is: a place to collect contemporary art books, especially Polish artists living in the country and abroad.
