In a war situation, ACTION is necessary. We warmly invite you to participate in a charity art auction.
The event, organized by the Foundation of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw as part of its aid activities for Ukraine, was initiated by students of our University. We are waiting for submissions of works by students, graduates, teachers and lecturers of our University until April 8th! The auction will take place on 23 April at 12.00 p.m. at 5 Krakowskie Przedmieście St. The works selected from among all submissions will be presented in the Academy Salon Gallery from 19 to 23 April 2022.
Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw for Ukraine
What our Academy certainly does not lack is unlimited creative potential. We hope, through a charity art auction, to translate it into real help for Ukraine.
For several weeks now, the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw has been involved in logistical and material assistance for students from Ukrainian art schools. We organize transport from the border, provide temporary shelter and food, establish contacts with art schools in the country and throughout Europe in order to guarantee further care and education for refugee women. To date, we have helped nearly 100 people. We want to continue these activities and help more! Proceeds from the sale of works at the auction will be used to support female students from Ukraine.

OPEN CALL
To submit a work:
→ by April 8, 2022, to the email address: akcja.aukcja@asp.waw.pl please send a completed APPLICATION FORM (PDF file), including basic information about the author/author and the submitted work.
→ after receiving an e-mail confirming acceptance of the application, please deliver the labeled (LABELET) and secured work to the Co-operation and Promotion Office in the Czapski Palace at 5 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street in Warsaw (4th floor, room 2.22). It will be necessary to conclude a work transfer agreement.
We are waiting for the works until April 8th, from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

One person can submit up to 3 works.
In case of a large number of applications we reserve the right to select works.
Pre-auction exhibition
Works selected from all the applications will be presented in the Academy Salon Gallery in Czapski Palace from 19 to 23 April between 12.00 and 19.00.
ACTION AUCTION
The auction will take place on 23 April 2022 at 12.00 p.m. at 5 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street.
