RECTOR’S ANNOUNCEMENT no 2/2020

Taking into consideration the well-being of employees, as well as undergraduate and graduate students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in reference to the announcement of Ministry of Foreign Affairs https://www.gov.pl/web/dyplomacja/wlochy recommending suspension of travels to northern Italy and the announcement of WHO https://gis.gov.pl/aktualnosci/who-oglasza-stan-zagrozenia-zdrowia-publicznego-o-znaczeniu-miedzynarodowym-pheic/ concerning the danger to international public, we request to put on hold the outgoing mobilities of graduate and undergraduate students, as well as employees, to China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Italy (especially northern regions), Iran Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan and other countries where cases of COVID-19 (pneumonia caused by coronavirus) have been confirmed.
The decision comes into force 26/02/2020 until further notice.

In reference to RECTOR’S ANNOUNCEMENT no 2/2020 from 26/02/2020, which suspends outgoing mobilities of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as employees, to countries where cases of COVID-19 (pneumonia caused by coronavirus) have been confirmed, with regard to the annoucements of Chief Sanitary Inspectorate https://www.gov.pl/web/nauka/informacja-glownego-inspektora-sanitarnego-dla-uczelni-w-zwiazku-z-potencjalnym-ryzykiem-zakazenia-koronawirusem and the recommendation of Ministry of Science and Higher Education https://www.gov.pl/web/nauka/rekomendacja-ministra-nauki-i-szkolnictwa-wyzszego-po-posiedzeniu-zespolu-do-spraw-koordynacji-dzialan-w-systemie-szkolnictwa-wyzszego-i-nauki-w-zwiazku-z-zagrozeniem-wystapienia-covid-19 we suspend all incoming mobilities to the Academy of foreign undergraduate and graduate students, as well as employees from areas at risk of coronavirus SARS-Cov-2 infections, indicated by Chief Sanitary Inspectorate.
The decision comes into force 09/03/2020 until further notice.
